Leeds Trinity Counselling Service
Leeds Trinity has a Counselling Service based at the Student Health Centre (near the Dining Room).The service is free and confidential to all students, no matter how big or small your problems may seem. for more details or to make an appointment, visit the Counselling Service intranet page, or e-mail s.jack@leedstrinity.ac.uk.
Nightline
Leeds Nightline is a telephone listening service run specially for students by students in Leeds, open every night of term 8pm - 8am. When there's something on your mind, big or small, you can give them a call to talk things through. The number to call is: 0113 380 1381. Advice And Resources
The Student Welfare Service provides free resources for personal safety and home security, including Personal Alarms, Window Alarms and Lamp Timer Switches. We can also give crime prevention information and advice. For more information about crime and safety, check out www.knowledge-leeds.co.uk.

Register it!
If you haven't already, we strongly recommend that you register your valuables (for example mobile phone and laptop) at www.immobilise.com. This will help the police to return the item to you if it's stolen, and helps the police to disrupt the stolen goods market. Registering your property on Immobilise is completely free and only takes a couple of minutes.

Sensitive crime
Our staff are also specially trained to help if you have experienced a Hate Crime, Sexual Crime or Domestic Abuse, whether or not you want to report it to the police.

The Student Welfare Service provides a range of information about local travel services, including general enquiries and discounted travel passes. Information on public transport and travelling to and from campus is also available on the ‘Travel Guide’ section of the Intranet or at www.wymetro.com.

STI (Sexually Transmitted Infection) testing
Chlamydia and Gonorrhoea testing is available free and confidentially at the Student Welfare Service. The Student Health Centre (near the Dining room) also offers this service. It's as simple as pee in a pot and it’s completely confidential. Testing for other STIs is available at the Leeds Centre for Sexual Health at Leeds General Infirmary (visit www.leedsth.nhs.uk/sites/sexual_health for details).

Pregnancy testing
Pregnancy testing is available free and confidentially at the Student Welfare Service as well as the Student Health Centre.
