Green impact is an award-winning ‘behaviour change programme’ empowering you to make meaningful change for sustainability, whether you’re starting from scratch, or think you have nothing left to do. It brings together students and staff and creates green campuses, curriculums and communities.

Megan Haugh - LTSU Green Impact Intern

"This year as LTSU’s first Green Impact Intern, I am heading up the programme for this year’s criteria. The first thing that I want to do, is to showcase our current achievements and acts of contribution to the sustainability of Leeds Trinity. Over the next couple of months you guys will hopefully start to notice the new campaign that we hope to implement around campus and the Students’ Union. I would love for anybody that is interested in joining in on this project to contact me at M.Haugh@leedstrinity.ac.uk or student.union@leedstrinity.ac.uk."

Thank you to everyone who participated. As a result of this work the Union reflected on its own negative impacts and as a result has produced its first ever LTSU Sustainability Policy which commits the organisation to influencing students’ behaviour around the environment and adequately resourcing work around achieving Green Impact each year. You can read the policy here.

Thirsty on campus?

You may have got one of our LTSU Water bottles during Freshers'. Use this or your own water bottle at one of the Water Fountains on campus. We've even compiled a handy map so you can find your nearest fountain.
