Get the wok sizzling and rustle up a Chicken and Prawn stir-fry. Who needs takeaways when you can make a quick, easy and tasty Chicken and Prawn Stir Fry in just 5 simple steps?
Ingredients
- 2 skinless boneless Chicken breast fillets
- 1 Bag Prawns
- 1 Packer of Stir Fry Mix
- 1 Packet of Noodles
- 1 Stir Fry Sauce
- 1 Carrot
- 2 Mushrooms
- 2 Peppers (Different Colours)
- 1 Red Onion
- 1 Onion
- 2 garlic cloves
- 1 red chilli (optional, definitely not for Chris)
Method
- Slice the Chicken into bite size pieces and begin to slice Peppers and Mushrooms, then dice the onions, and peel the carrot before crushing and dice up the garlic cloves.
- Fool proof stir-frying: Heat a wok and pour in 1 tbsp oil. Cook the chicken for 7-10 mins, tossing until just cooked before setting aside.
- Add the Onions & Peppers and cook for 1 min, then cook the garlic for 1-2 mins more.
- Promptly it’s time to tip in the Stir Fry mix mixing your already cooked veg for a further 2 mins.
- Now its noodle time, add and mix into the veg before finally combine the sauce. Tip into the wok, add the precooked Chicken and Prawns. Cook for no longer than 5 mins, stir throughout then serve up and enjoy!
