Representative for the School of Health & Social Sciences

The Representative for Health and Social Sciences is one of our three school reps, they represent all students in the School of Health and Social Sciences.

Hi guys! My name is Jessie Chalders, I am a Level 5 Psychology and Child Development student and your Representative for the School of Health and Social Sciences. As well as this I am the course representative for Psychology and Child Development and the Director of The Chapel Choir.

What do you hope to achieve in your role?

As your Representative for the School of Health and Social Sciences I aim to be the voice of students in your cohort. If you have any feedback (good or bad 😊), issues or questions related to your course, I am on hand to make sure your thoughts, opinions and needs are acknowledged, and actions taken when required. If you need any help, advice or just want a friendly face to come have a chat with then please just drop me an email!

Any top tips for LTU students?

Have Fun! Get stuck in to everything you can, join societies, clubs and activities (particularly The Chapel Choir…I am not biased at all 😊!)

Buy plenty of pens! I always seem to lose my pens so make sure you have a large collection (I will probably ask to borrow one at some point!)

Help others where you can and ask for help when you need it - We are all only human after all!

What would you like students to know about you?

Do stop for a chat when you see me on campus, I would love to get to know you and hear about how your courses are going :)
