Leeds Trinity Students’ Union is a Charity led by students providing advice, representation, social, recreational, and sporting opportunities. Our services are supported by a staff team who are experts in their fields and enable us to sustain an environment for students to reach their potential.
Our organisation has up to 40+ staff working for us throughout the calendar year. We have been audited by NUS and achieved Very Good in people and continue to work towards Excellent.

External Trustee (7 Meetings/Year + Training day)
Term; Fixed term 4 years (2021-2025).
Pay; Volunteer expenses.
Hours; Approx. 14-20hrs per annum.
Interview date: TBC with the applicant.
Start date; Immediate.
As a Board member, you have full authority and responsibility to develop policies, procedures, and regulations for the operating of Leeds Trinity Students’ Union. You monitor the Union’s overall performance against the operating and strategic plan. You also interpret the constitution as required. As a Trustee, you are responsible for fully understanding the Constitution and Byelaws of the Students’ Union. You will have an awareness of the day-to-day activities of the organisation and provide sound assistance to the organisation through your role. You’ll make the Board aware of any potential conflicts of interest and prepare for and attend board meetings.
