Leeds Trinity Students’ Union is a Charity led by students providing advice, representation, social, recreational, and sporting opportunities. Our services are supported by a staff team who are experts in their fields and enable us to sustain an environment for students to reach their potential.

Our organisation has up to 40+ staff working for us throughout the calendar year. We have been audited by NUS and achieved Very Good in people and continue to work towards Excellent.

Communication and Engagement Coordinator

Term; Fixed-term until July 31st 2022 

Pay; £19.5k per annum pro rata

Hours;  35hrs/week, 9-5pm

Leeds Trinity Students’ Union is a small Students' Union with a big reputation. We exist to support the 7,500 students at Leeds Trinity University throughout their university experience, helping to create and sustain an environment for students to reach their potential.

The Communications and Engagement will assist with the implementation of Leeds Trinity Students’ Union new Strategic Plan by delivering effective marketing and communications service. The ideal candidate will be creative and innovative and will play a key role in the operational delivery of the Union’s marketing and communications activities and will lead on communicating our messages, writing for web, social media, physical marketing channels and analysing and reporting on campaign successes.

Events Assistant

Leeds Trinity Students’ Union is a small Students' Union with a big reputation. We exist to support the 7,500 students at Leeds Trinity University throughout their university experience, helping to create and sustain an environment for students to reach their potential.

The Events Assistant will plan, deliver, and communicate all LTSU events to students at Leeds Trinity. This will include events in our hospitality venue including Bingo, Quiz’s and Karaoke.

The role will also assist the Membership Services Coordinators (Voice & Activities) with seasonal events such as Academic Interest Awards, Graduation, Clubs/Society Awards Evening and Varsity. It will also support our Clubs & Societies to promote their events.

Developing high-quality digital content (Photographic, video, and infographics) relevant and engaging to Leeds Trinity Students. As well as working closely with all staff in ensuring our website and social communication channels reflect the interests of our students and effectively promote the activities of our organisation.

As a Board member, you have full authority and responsibility to develop policies, procedures, and regulations for the operating of Leeds Trinity Students’ Union. You monitor the Union’s overall performance against the operating and strategic plan. You also interpret the constitution as required. As a Trustee, you are responsible for fully understanding the Constitution and Byelaws of the Students’ Union. You will have an awareness of the day-to-day activities of the organisation and provide sound assistance to the organisation through your role. You’ll make the Board aware of any potential conflicts of interest and prepare for and attend board meetings.
