How do finances work?
Each club or society has a club/society pot with LTSU. Any money from memberships, sponsorships or grants goes into the pot. You can access your funds by using Student Group Finances (SGF) on the dashboard of the LTSU website. To find SGF log into LTSU, go to your club/ society page, click the pencil, click admin tools and then finance requests. Don’t forget to upload a receipt!

Your Activities Coordinator is always on hand and can help you manage your finances. It is good for you to know how much money you currently have, and what your upcoming expenses may be.

SAC Grant

The main thing to remember when applying for the SAC Grant is that the SAC panel are looking for well thought out applications.
- Has your club/soc tried to source money elsewhere?
- Does the money help your club/society develop?
- Has your club/society sourced the item they wish to purchase?
- Could your club/society get it cheaper?
- Does the club/society already have enough money in their accounts already?
