Accommodation Options

On-campus accommodation
There are plenty of options if you want to live on campus, contact accommodation@leedstrinity.ac.uk to find out more.

Off-campus rental properties
If you prefer to live off-campus, there are local rental properties and many shared student houses in popular areas like Headingley, Hyde Park, and Burley. These areas have excellent transport links to both the city centre and campus.

There are also some rental properties in Horsforth if you want to be closer to campus. Most of these are family homes or flats in a quieter, suburban area.

Finding reliable properties

  • We recommend starting with the Unipol Leeds website, which lists properties from approved landlords and letting agencies.

  • There are many landlords and agencies in student areas, but not all have a good reputation, so always check reviews on Google or Trustpilot before signing a contract.

  • You can also explore purpose-built student accommodation run by private companies in Leeds city centre.

Tenancy agreements

  • Most students sign an individual tenancy agreement, which makes you responsible only for your room in a shared property.

  • Once you’ve signed a tenancy agreement, it usually cannot be cancelled, so make sure you’re happy with the property, landlord/letting agency, and contract terms before signing.
