#LTUnity is back for Semester 2!
Many people have never been more aware of their physical and mental health than right now.
The events of the past 12 months have sharpened our focus on the importance of having a healthy body and a resilient mind. Lishi is an ancient Chinese system for boosting your energy and living a healthy life. It connects mind and body and strengthens both.We are offering a 10 week taster course where you will discover and explore:
♦ The Lishi Warm-Up for your joints and muscles that will remove aches and pains, put you in the right mood for exercise and almost guarantee you’ll never get injured in a class
♦ Deep Breathing Techniques that will evaporate stress and boost your energy
♦ Ancient exercises that reveal how you can tap into your bodies natural energy, double your strength without having to go to the gym or lift a single weight
♦ Daoist Yoga from China that powerfully releases tension, increases suppleness and deeply relaxes your mind and body
♦ Basic moves of Tai Chi that will lead you into the world of Moving Meditation so you can live a meaningful and mindful life wherever you are and whatever you’re doing
♦ A gentle introduction to Hand of the Wind Kung Fu so you increase your fitness, burn fat and boost your confidence
The classes will be lead via zoom by an experienced teacher.
