My name is Maddie, and I am your LTSU President. I hope this email finds you well. I wanted to reach out and extend an invitation for our university to participate in Disabled Students UK's Annual Disabled Student Survey this year.
The survey is gathering the experiences of a variety of disabled students. To participate in the survey you do not need to have a diagnosis. Disabilities include long term conditions such as chronic illnesses, mental health conditions and neurodiversity.
Each year over 1000 students share their lived-experiences, resulting in insights into how we can improve their Higher Education experience. We hope that this year’s survey will allow us to understand the experiences of our disabled students specifically at our institution, helping us identify positive policies and areas for improvement.
