Leeds Trinity Students' Union would like to inform our students, that due to ongoing considerations, the Returning Officer has ruled that the votes from the Vice President category will not be counted or announced on Friday with the other results.
We understand that this may be a frustrating and uncertain moment for many of you, especially the candidates. Please be assured that this ruling adheres to our Bye Laws and Election rules, and that the Returning Officer (Peter Robertson, NUS CEO) is an experienced, independent person appointed by LTSU Trustee Board.
We recognize the importance of this election, and we are working diligently to resolve this matter as swiftly as possible. In the meantime, we appreciate your patience and understanding.
