After an exciting few weeks of nominations, training, and campaigning, the LTSU Leadership Elections 2026 have officially come to a close.
A huge thank you to every student who stepped forward and ran for a position this year. It’s been amazing to see the passion, creativity, and dedication shown throughout the campaign period. From campaign ideas to conversations across campus, you’ve all played a part in making this year’s elections engaging and inspiring.
The Leadership Elections are your opportunity to shape the future of the Leeds Trinity University Students’ Union, by electing the students who will represent you and lead the Student Council in the upcoming academic year.
The results were officially announced at the LTSU Election Results Event, held in the Students’ Union café, on Friday 13th March.
Below you’ll find the list of successful candidates for each position in the 2026 Leadership Elections.
Any roles that remain unfilled will be available during our By-Elections, which are expected to take place later this year.
If you’re interested in running for one of the available positions or would like to find out more about getting involved with LTSU, please email ltsuvoice@leedstrinity.ac.uk
Finally, a big congratulations to Rosario and Charlotte, our new Sabbatical Officers for the 2026/27 academic year. We’re excited to see what they’ll achieve over the next year and hope the LTU community gives them a big welcome.
Keep an eye out as our new part-time officers also get ready to start their roles and support students throughout the year ahead.
