BCDI Teaching Excellence Award 

Awarded to an academic staff member within the Faculty of Business, Computing, and Digital Industries (BCDI) who has consistently delivered outstanding teaching. The recipient has demonstrated excellence in fostering an engaging, supportive, and inclusive learning environment, and has made a notable contribution to the academic development and success of their students.

HWLS Teaching Excellence Award 

Awarded to an academic staff member within the Faculty of Health, Wellbeing, and Life Sciences (HWLS) who has consistently delivered outstanding teaching. The recipient has demonstrated excellence in fostering an engaging, supportive, and inclusive learning environment, and has made a notable contribution to the academic development and success of their students.

SSE Teaching Excellence Award

WINNER: LTU Chaplaincy

Commitment to Student Welfare 

Awarded to professional services staff who have shown outstanding dedication to supporting student welfare. This includes those who go above and beyond in providing pastoral care, mental health support, and guidance to students, ensuring their well-being is prioritised.

WINNER: Cat Sayburn

Professional Services Staff Member of the Year 

This award recognises an exceptional professional services staff member who has demonstrated consistent excellence in their role. The winner has contributed significantly to the smooth running of the university and has shown unwavering commitment to enhancing the student experience and the university’s overall mission.

Student Staff Awards 

 

PGR Teaching Excellence Award 

This award acknowledges Postgraduate Researchers (PGRs) who have shown exceptional ability in teaching and supporting undergraduate or postgraduate students. It highlights those who have made a significant impact in the classroom and contributed to the academic development of their peers through effective and innovative teaching practices.

WINNER: Dhimoyee Banerjee

Intern Recognition Award 

Awarded to an intern who has gone above and beyond in their role, making a meaningful contribution to the university. This award celebrates the individual’s initiative, hard work, and dedication to supporting their department or project, while also enhancing their personal and professional growth.

WINNER: Sophie Batt

Student Staff Member of the Year 

This prestigious award recognises an exceptional student staff member who has demonstrated outstanding dedication, initiative, and performance in their role. All Staff Awards 

 

EDI Champion Award 

This award honours staff who have shown exceptional commitment to advancing Equality, Diversity, and Inclusion (EDI) within the university community. It recognises those who promote inclusive practices, support underrepresented groups, and work to create a welcoming and diverse environment for all staff and students.

WINNER: Liz Cable

Sustainability Champion Award 

Awarded to a staff who have made a significant contribution to sustainability efforts at Leeds Trinity University. This includes promoting environmentally sustainable practices, reducing waste, and advocating for eco-friendly initiatives that help the university reduce its carbon footprint.

WINNER: Katie Clegg

Student Voice Champion Award 

This award recognises staff who have actively listened to, advocated for, and supported the student voice within the university. The flagship award of the Leeds Trinity Students' Union Staff Teaching and Recognition Awards. It honours exceptional contributions in teaching, service, student support, or leadership, and is awarded to someone who exemplifies the spirit and values of Leeds Trinity University.
