Would you like to be involved in decision-making at the highest level in Leeds Trinity Students’ Union? We have an exciting opportunity for up to three Student Trustees to join our Board. We welcome applications from all courses, levels, and modes of study, but we are particularly interested in representation from current first-year students.

**Our Board recognises that it is not currently representative of the diverse student population at Leeds Trinity. We therefore welcome applications from Black and Ethnic Minority Groups.**

What is a Student Trustee?

The Trustee Board is the highest level of governance of the Students’ Union and as such practices legal, financial and strategic oversight of the whole organisation. As a full member of the Students’ Union trustee Board, you will be monitoring the delivery and performance of the Students’ Union, ensuring we follow our governing documents, legislation and best practice- fully supported by both your fellow trustees and the Union administration.

You’ll receive ongoing training and briefings to ensure you can fully carry out your role and responsibilities.

Benefits

You will get to make a difference to over 7500 students’ lives at Leeds Trinity University ensuring we become a high-performing, relevant Students’ Union that represents, supports and builds relevant digital and physical communities for our students.

No experience required

The role of Student Trustee exists to ensure our Board hears from and is focussed on the lived experiences of current Leeds Trinity Students- and THAT is the only experience you need.

Leadership role

As a Trustee, you are responsible for fully understanding the constitution and bylaws of the Students’ Union. You will have an awareness of the day-to-day activities of the organisation and provide sound assistance to the organisation through your role.
