Manifesto
Your voice, your power, your future.
-
Empower student's
As your president, I will work to create a transparent and accountable Union through building and maintaining the regular and open channels of communications between student’s, their subject specific student representive’s and the relevant staff member’s. To ensure that each student’s voice is not just heard but acted upon.
-
Community Matters
I will aim to build a community between Horsforth and city campus students, through ensuring that events set up by the SU consider all campuses when planning and promoting social and support events.
-
Sustainability
I will ensure that sustainability goals are acted upon, with the support of student’s green goals brought forward by the sustainability officer such as vape bins, food bins in all accommodation's, clothes swap parties and form a green society which give students the opportunity to get involved in building their own greenhouse and growing fresh food which can be given back to Student’s in need in the University.
-
Inclusivity and Diversity
As your president, I will work to ensure that all societies receive an equal amount of support from the SU to set up societies, market themselves, recruit people, set up event’s and manage a society. I want to ensure that all societies feel represented, valued and that they can turn to the SU for any support they need in terms of admin, advertising and finance.
Currently a group of societies has been overlooked which has resulted in the events and celebrations that are being run and promoted by societies not being representive of the range of diversity we have here at Leeds Trinity.
