How are clubs & societies run?

Clubs and Societies are run by students who have been elected by their peers. Your Students' Union trains and supports these volunteers.

What is happening as a result of COVID?

All clubs and societies must follow strict guidelines in order to run activities. The 5 stages are as follows;

Stage 1 – Ratification, coaches forms and Covid-19 Officer nominated.

Stage 2 – Small sided socially distanced training (max groups of 6 per quarter pitch)

Stage 3 – Larger group socially distanced training (max 30)

Stage 4 – Friendlies and inter squad games allowed, No social distancing during training.

Stage 5 – Official clubs socials allowed

21-9-20- The Basketball committee has completed stage 1. For the latest Covid-19 updates please see visit this page.

About Us

Leeds Trinity Students' Union Basketball was founded in 2016. In 2017-18 we launched our first taster sessions for women's basketball which was well attended. The club is currently recruiting new committee positions. We don't currently have a team competing in BUCS and meet to play social basketball.

I am interested, what do I do?

For now, just express an interest on the free ticket to the right. This will allow the committee to message you directly about Cheer events and activities.
