Introduce a peer to peer student buddy scheme

    Rejected
In light of the Covid-19 pandemic, many students are feeling isolated, alone and finding it difficult to engage in friendships. Taking inspiration from other universities, such as the University of Leeds, York and Manchester, I think we should introduce our own student buddy scheme. This would entail matching ‘peer buddies’ with students who are feeling isolated so that they can get in touch and chat. A peer to peer system, both peer buddies and those signing up for a buddy will be students, ideally matched with one another due to similar interests or those studying similar courses to allow one another to find common ground.
