Most of our classes being online at this difficult time, perhaps making it mandatory for all videos/podcasts having proper captions, would make them much more accessible for students specially for those with hearing issues or English as second language speakers. Especially as some of the lecturers do not show their face in the videos and lip reading would not be possible.
When all the captions Have captions, it gives us the option to search for the material on Panapto and also print the material as texts, too.
This is a potential Volunteering/paying work for students with high speed typing/ High attention to details skill and interested in the videos/podcasts subject.
