As a Mature & Part Time Student Officer- I strongly believe it would be beneficial to introduce a new platform dedicated to mature and part time students. This would allow them to access information in their own time. As a mature student I am fully aware of the pressure and difficulties, that mature and part time students may face, on a daily basis. This could be things like childcare, work & family commitments. Due to such commitments many part time and mature students are unable to free up any extra time at University. As such it is difficult to liaise with mature and part time students on campus. Having a platform dedicated to mature and part time students via the My LTU App Tile- would allow the students to access any important information or address any concerns that they may have.
