What are election 101's?

101 one sessions are informal drop-in sessions for you to meet staff, current officers and volunteers. You can take the opportunity to find out more about the Students' Union, bounce ideas off others are simply learn more about how we work. No previous experience is required. No commitment to nominate just our way of saying hello.

What are the SU Elections?

We annually elect two full-time Sabbatical Officers (President and Vice-President), Student Council, Course Reps & Clubs and Society Committees. 

President; The President leads on academic matters working closely with staff on the Course Reps and School Reps system and Student-Led Staff Awards to support students. They are also the spokesperson of the Union both with the University and with anyone external. Additionally, they represent the Union to the National Union of Students (NUS). ...More
