I am the BAME Officer at LTSU and I am responsible for promoting diversity, equity, and inclusiveness among students. As the BAME Officer, I will play a critical role in creating a supportive and inclusive campus environment for students from diverse ethnic and cultural backgrounds.  

My main responsibilities include: 

  1. Advocating for the needs and concerns of BAME students and representing their voice at student council meetings. 

  1. Organising and leading initiatives and events that promote cultural awareness and celebrate the diverse backgrounds of students.  

  1. Developing and implementing policies and programmes aimed at promoting diversity and inclusion in all aspects of campus life.  

  1. And much more, my role allows me to Be the Change. 

I am passionate about promoting diversity and social justice and have the drive and leadership skills to make a difference.
